# Terminology

> Plain-language definitions for providers, sync types, runs, mappings, and exceptions.

| Term                      | Meaning                                                                                                                              |
| ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Source provider**       | Employment Hero, Tanda, or Deputy. This is the authoritative workforce system for the integration.                                   |
| **Mitti**                 | The destination platform, formerly known as SafetyCulture. Some technical references retain the former name.                         |
| **Integration**           | One source provider connected to Mitti for an organization.                                                                          |
| **Sync type**             | A category of data processed together, such as Users or Group Memberships.                                                           |
| **Run**                   | One execution of one sync type.                                                                                                      |
| **Session**               | The related set of sync-type runs started for an integration.                                                                        |
| **Mapping**               | The stored link between a source record and its Mitti record. Mappings are maintained by the platform and Bravas.                    |
| **Exclusion group**       | A selected source group whose group and related membership data is intentionally skipped.                                            |
| **Review Item**           | A recurring exception or warning that needs investigation or manual action.                                                          |
| **Staged provisioning**   | A rule that places eligible future starters in onboarding groups before moving them to business-as-usual groups on their start date. |
| **Organization timezone** | The timezone used to interpret scheduled run hours and report windows.                                                               |

## Provider-Specific Names

The same sync type can have a different source name:

These labels describe how Bravas Sync interprets provider records. They do not rename anything in the source provider.
