Users creates and updates eligible people in Mitti. It controls the identity used for matching, whether future starters are included, and what happens when a person is no longer active in the source.
Shared Settings
These settings apply to Employment Hero, Tanda, and Deputy.
Seat Type Override
Default: Default. Choices: Default, Full, Lite, Free.
Use Default to inherit the organization’s Bravas-managed Mitti seat type. Choose another seat type only when this integration needs a different provisioning policy. This is a seat choice, not a group or site-access rule; confirm its access and licensing implications before changing it.
Skip Deactivation
Default: Off.
- Off: A mapped Mitti user can be deactivated when the source record becomes inactive or disappears.
- On: The sync does not deactivate that user for this reason.
Turn it on when departures are intentionally handled outside this integration. This transfers responsibility for removing access to your team; it does not make a person eligible for new provisioning.
Require Group Membership
Default: Off.
Turn this on when only people belonging to at least one synced source group should be provisioned in Mitti. Those groups are Employment Hero teams, Tanda Departments, or Deputy Operational Units.
Leave it off when group membership should not be an eligibility requirement. Other checks still apply: membership of an excluded group skips the person even if this switch is off or they also belong to an included group.
Employment Hero Only
Start Date Offset
Default: 0 days. Choices: A whole number of days, zero or more.
Use this to include employees before their start date. At 0, the future-start window is not extended. At 7, an otherwise eligible employee starting within the next seven days can be included.
This changes when the person is fetched for syncing. It does not create onboarding groups by itself. The control may also appear for Tanda and Deputy, but their current adapters do not apply this offset.
Email Priority
Default order: Account Email, Company Email, Primary Email, Personal Email.
Move the email fields into the order your organization trusts. The sync uses the first available value for matching and creating the person in Mitti; later fields are fallbacks if earlier ones are missing.
For example, putting Company Email first prioritizes the work address, but does not prevent a fallback to another available address. This setting is not available for Tanda or Deputy.
Email priority affects identity matching. Before reordering it, confirm which source email is
stable, unique, and intended for Mitti. A different email can fail to match an existing user or
associate the wrong identity.
Staged Provisioning
Default: Off. Requires: Dual-Group Mode in Groups and a usable source start date.
Use this when future starters need onboarding access before receiving their regular group memberships. Eligible new users enter the onboarding stage first. A run on or after their start date changes them to the regular working stage, which Group Memberships uses to assign the corresponding groups.
When off, the sync does not use this date-based onboarding stage. A user without a usable start date, or whose start date is outside the pre-start window, is skipped by this staged creation path.
Use the current staged-provisioning flow with Employment Hero only. Although the control appears
for Tanda and Deputy, their start dates are not currently recognized by this flow, so enabling it
can skip new users. Keep it off for those providers and ask Bravas about your onboarding outcome.
Pre-Start Days
Default: 14 days. Choices: A whole number of days, one or more. Available only when Staged Provisioning is on.
This is the onboarding window: 14 allows an otherwise eligible future starter to enter the onboarding stage up to two weeks before their start date. It works with staged provisioning rather than acting as a separate group filter.
Safe Examples
Include Starters One Week Early
For Employment Hero, set Start date offset to 7. A person starting within seven days can become eligible for the Users sync. This does not by itself enable staged groups.
Stage Starters Through Onboarding
- Confirm Employment Hero is the selected provider and the person has a source start date.
- Enable dual-group mode in Groups.
- Enable Staged provisioning in Users.
- Keep Pre-start days at
14, or choose the approved onboarding window.
- Confirm the next Users and Group Memberships runs place the person in the onboarding group.
- Confirm runs on or after the start date move the person to the business-as-usual group.
Bravas-Managed User Controls
Bravas manages the organization default seat type, workforce-access policies, tenant identity, and source-to-Mitti mappings. Workforce-access policy is a separate model based on approved eligibility and explicit cost-centre assignments. It cannot be combined with group filters or staged provisioning.
